Unfortunately Sarah, Michelle and myself have had to postpone what was to be our last Pop up of the year at Creake Abbey on
Saturday 15th October
We look forward to returning to this wonderful venue soon on a date to be confirmed. In the meantime many thanks as always for your custom and support, it is very appreciated!
“Our idea for the Pop ups is to create a welcoming environment where visitors can see and purchase our work and also get an insight into our creative world with additional displays of works in progress, tools of the trade, raw materials, photographs, explanations and sketch books etc.
We have been exhibiting together for many years at events in Norfolk and Suffolk. As well as being good friends, we share the same passion and enthusiasm for our work and are really looking forward to Popping up in the Grainstore at Creake Abbey and sharing our journeys and work with you”
Here is some information on my fellow Artists…
Michelle Daniels
Potter
Michelle is the Potter of Oby Pottery and has a vast knowledge of her craft. She makes functional wheel thrown stoneware with surface decoration further enhanced by her own glazes. In addition to her Stoneware, she has also created an impressive collection of Raku “Space pots” inspired by the incredible images of Earth taken by the European space agency Astronaut Tim Peake whilst on board the International Space station (Tim is the proud owner of one of Michelle’s Space pots!)
Sarah Burt
Artist
Sarah is talented Artist. She works in Pastels and Acrylics and also creates contemporary artworks using British and Merino wool fibres. She has a superb eye for colour and always captures a lovely sense of depth in her work. She is inspired by the wonderfully vivid colours and textures of the Norfolk and Suffolk coast and countryside.
